Saturday night we had some dear friends over for dinner and a little play time for the kiddos. We had so much fun. We love you guys...

As you can see..water started to hit my camera..they were pretty determined to get me wet. Mission accomplished. :o)

1st time: Pee-Pee on the Potty!!!

Today, we got out Lydia's big girl potty. When we came home from running errands, I placed her big girl potty in the bathroom. I asked her if she had to go potty and she nodded.

So, we sat her down. Waited....waited...waited....and waited...we held hands..we sang songs...and then all of a sudden....she did it!

Honestly, I don't think she knew what she did. When she stood up and saw what was in the bowl..she was really surprised and I clapped and rejoiced! Then she got scared. She wasn't sure what that liquid was in the bowl or how it got there......

Hopefully this will be a start to some interest in the "big girl" potty.

Whoo-hoo...this calls for a celebration!!

Lydia spelling her name!

We have been working really hard on how to spell her name. She is doing quite well! She even knows other letters of the alphabet!

Also....we have been teaching her about the Body and Blood of Jesus. Yesterday, we were passing out some french bread and she pointed to the bread and said, "Jesus!" Awesome!!

We love our girl!
