Susan took this pic...what great photo!! Thanks so much!!

Joanna and Lydia on the bouncer at the Feast

"Oh, yea! This is FUN!!"

got milk?

"Look! It's Dora on my shirt!!"

Strike a pose.

"I dunno Momma...do I have to take another picture?"

Lydia's new haircut...thank goodness hair grows back! It was a traumatic experience..I felt like we were at the doctor's office......see..it's a bit choppy in the back..

"Like my new haircut? Momma said I was getting a mullet and that I had to get my hair cut."

A bit crooked...but...hey...she still is a cutie!

I am loving Momma and Daughter time...

Lydia loving on her new horse!

Seriously..can you get any cuter?

It is a beautiful day today...the weather was just perfect. Lydia and I ran some errands first, then we headed to downtown La Grange to walk in the historic district. We stopped by some shops and looked at some really cool Derby hats. Then we stopped by the Italian deli in La Grange. Love that place. If you are ever in the area..check it out...Delizie Italiane is the place. The ladies there are just super sweet..not to mention the food is crazy good!!! They always make us feel right at home.

Hopefully we will grill out some chicken tonight and have some good family time.

This weekend our church will have their Spring Resurrection Feast. All are welcome. It's from 11-6..lots of food, child/family games, and lots of fun! It looks like the weather is going to be great! :o)

Have a great day!!!!

Day at the Zoo

We had the best time at the Zoo. It was pretty cold, but we were all bundled up and enjoyed it! Thanks to Erin and Brenda for getting us in! Lydia loved it. As I was showing her the pictures after they were all set up on the computer...she was just loving it, jumping up and down and clapping!! We are going there again...that is a fact.

What a great pre-celebration to Lydia's birthday!! Let the festivities begin!!

Work Day Today

Good morning friends and family! Today, our family will be outside all day working on our landscape. This task has been put on the backburner for a while now..finally we get a good day with lots of sunshine and no rain!!!

Yesterday, we went and bought a bunch of herbs and will be planting those in planters inside until it is safe to plant in our garden. We will be putting in a new mailbox (which I know our mail-lady will be very pleased with--our current mailbox is shameful!!), raking out our old mulch (putting in new mulch this week), pulling weeds, laying some anti-weed material (preparing for our new mulch), pulling out some nasty bushes we have in our back yard, getting our plot ready for our garden...just to name a few items!! :o)

I will be taking some pictures of Lydia helping us with all this...she loves to help!! Speaking of Lydia...do you believe she will be 2 years old next week????

Until next time....have a great day!
